01
Testimony
Reneeta
Young LGBTQ+ individuals must have safe spaces where they can discuss the opinions of those who might not understand them. It's equally important to educate people about the true meaning of inclusivity within the church so that LGBTQ+ Christians can feel acknowledged and heard.
02
Testimony
Will and Marisa Fleming
Married couples must have opportunities for discussions like this in their church, not only for their benefit but also for their children. By observing their parents, children can learn how to communicate effectively about an affirming stance. The importance of discussions like this taking place in the church is vital.
"Clobber passages"

The term "Clobber passages" refers to a set of verses in the Bible that are sometimes used to condemn homosexuality. Here are two main approaches to arguing against them:
* Contextualization: These passages were written in a different time and place, and their original meaning may not be directly applicable today.
For example, some argue that the condemnation of homosexuality in Leviticus is part of a broader set of purity laws that are no longer relevant....let's continue the conversation.....
* Interpretation: The Bible can be interpreted in many ways. Some scholars argue that the passages in question do not actually condemn homosexuality, but rather other sexual practices such as temple prostitution or rape... let's continue the conversation.
